\u201cSupport artists who create the memory of the times we live in. Leave a good mark for future generations.\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 these were our first thoughts when we got acquainted with the unusual project of building a collection of contemporary art at the Museum of Warsaw. We are very pleased to announce that we are joining the group of companies that will support the Museum of Warsaw Foundation in this important project.<\/p>\n

Thanks to our donation, the Museum of Warsaw purchased Marta Nadolle\u2019s painting \u201cI miss you, but I live here because there are opportunities\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The painting \u201cI miss you, but I live here because there are opportunities\u201d is a kind of self-portrait \u2013 it shows the artist talking to her friend after work (Nadolle is an art teacher).<\/p>\n

The title refers to the opportunities Warsaw offers. Nadolle moved to the capital to complete her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts. Originally from a small town in West Pomerania, she initially found the move lonely and felt deeply homesick. Painting became a way to process everyday experiences \u2014 painful, funny or surprising \u2014 and to understand her emotions and herself.<\/p>\n

Nadolle\u2019s small paintings serve as a visual diary, helping her work through the happier and more difficult moments of daily life. They depict a young woman\u2019s experience of Warsaw, exploring the challenges of forming relationships, the painful aspects of growing up and humorous episodes in the artist\u2019s life.<\/p>\n

Marta Nadolle (born 1989)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Marta Nadolle studied at the Academies of Fine Arts in Gda\u0144sk and Warsaw. In 2014, she graduated with distinction from Professor Jaros\u0142aw Modzelewski\u2019s painting studio and Professor Miros\u0142aw Duchowski\u2019s Art in Public Space studio. Painting is her main medium. She lives and works in Warsaw.<\/p>\n
