The festival is dedicated to the work of one of Poland's most famous film directors Krzysztof Kieslowski.
This year the 8th edition of the “Hommage a Kieslowski” festival did not receive support from state cultural institutions.
Kieslowski is one of the most important Polish filmmakers. His most important works include “Amator,” “Przypadek,” the cycles “Decalogue” and “Trilogy” and “The Double Life of Veronique,” as well as the documentaries “Talking Heads,” “From the Point of View of a Night Porter,” and “Hospital.”.
