A+E Networks appoints Media People as its media agency

Media People has won the media account for A+E Networks Poland, the broadcaster behind documentary and entertainment channels including HISTORY, Lifetime and Crime+Investigation.

Our first joint project will be the campaign for the documentary series Opowiem ci o zbrodni, presented by leading Polish crime writers Igor Brejdygant, Katarzyna Bonda, Wojciech Chmielarz, Marta Guzowska, Małgorzata and Michał Kuźmińscy, and Katarzyna Puzyńska.

“We chose Media People because its proposal and media mix were the best fit for our needs. Our campaign aims to encourage people who have never watched Crime+Investigation, or who have a fixed idea of what it offers, to try the channel and discover a programme unlike anything previously shown on Polish television,” says Tomasz Teodorczyk, Director of Content and Brand, Poland & CEE, at A+E Networks.

“Working with specialist television channels is particularly demanding because success can be measured in different ways. For us, the key measure is the programme’s or channel’s audience in the Nielsen panel, and improving those figures is a real challenge. We hope this excellent format and our work together will contribute to its success,” says Marcin Marciniak, Account Director at Media People.

The series will make its television debut on Crime+Investigation Polsat (CI Polsat) on Wednesday, October 17 at 10:00 p.m. The program was produced by Kompania Mediowa under the supervision of Agnieszka Kubiak, director of local production and creation, A+E Networks.
